Lacy and Nathan get Baptized!

Nathan asked me about baptism and was very compelled to get baptized. I took he and Lacy to Pastor Moore and he discussed with Lacy and Nathan what baptism was and that it was commanded by Jesus. Both kids decided to get baptized.

The Pitts family and the Williams family both joined us for Sunday service to witness the baptism. Bless them, Lord for they were an encouragement to both kids.

Linn said a beautiful heartfelt prayer thanking God for these precious children being in our lives, asking for His protection over them and His guidance not only for them, but for us as well.

Pastor then had each child taste a sprinkle of salt. He reminded them they are to be the "salt of the earth"....He did not know that Lacy loves salt and would have willingly consumed the whole shaker had she been allowed to do so.

After church we took the kids to the park with both families and had a picnic lunch. The kids had a great time. Lynn P gave the kids a card in honor of their baptism. This will be kept for them as a treasure.
