Our bird houses

For Nathan to earn his wolf rank in cub scouts, he had to build a birdhouse. With his papa's help, we now have two! We were thrilled when the birds actually came to use it.




We have been watching them out of our living room window as they pick up grass and whatever else they can find to build their nest inside. We saw a couple of Starlings try to move in, but the doorway was much to small for them so they lost out.

We are going to watch and see if they actually have eggs in there. This will be a fun spring and summer project for us.
