Spiritual Warfare

I have already finished this book. It reiterated and clarified for me just how active Satan is in this world. I must be doing something right cuz it seems whereever I turn there is a block of some sort for me to get through.

Our churches don't teach of Satan and his minions any more, not to the extent that they should. We are fed fluff, rather that being armed for our battle. We are coddled like newbornes when we should be going through training for war. How to stay on guard, how to recognize the enemy, the accuser. How soft our culture is making us.

Satan knows his time is short, he is using all he can to take as many with him when the final battle occurs, and he is cast into the lake of fire for all eternity. We can see it on the news, in magazines, on TV, numbing us to become complacent and indifferent to what God deems an abomination. I see it in a dear one who has chosen to listen to the world and now walks a homosexual lifestyle.

God has written in ISAIAH 47:10 For you have trusted in your own wickedness; You have said "No one sees me" Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; and you have said in your heart, I am and there is no one else besides me;
This seems to describe our culture today!!!

I think of the 3 grandchild that God has with us for now. My time may be short with them, as their mother could chose to move out and take them with her at any time. I am privileged to be able to homeschool them (altho some day's it does not feel like a privlege) I hope that with each day that passes I can teach them of God. That God will draw them close to Him and place a hedge of protection around them, around this household.
