Today we headed out for a 4H meeting to be held at a friends house, only to find that the meeting had been cancelled. Instead, kids played and I got the opportunity to visit over a cup of tea.

227. A chance to encourage and be encouraged and grow
228. laughter of children playing "battles"
229. Green tea with a touch of maple syrup, taught to me by my friend
230. Encouraging my husband to take some college courses
231. Watching a 1 year old toddle around the living room
232. Remembering when these 3 were that small
233. cherishing the thought of who they will become.
234. An opportunity to "train them up"
235. His startling me as I walk out of the bathroom and both of us laughing
236. Him going on a "date" with the 8 year old and teaching her to shoot gophers
237. Her smile as she tells me about her "date"
238. The 8 year old asking permission to go on a "date with her papa
239. His blue eyes that still show me he loves me with just a glance.
240. Our neighbors sheep, the little lambs staying close to mom and reminding me to listen to my "shepherd", and to stay close to him.
241. The clock that shows me he will be home soon
242. Time to become "lost" in God's word, and being overwhelmed by His love for me.
243. Little ones singing "Here I come to Worship" out of key, almost yelling as if God will hear him better.
244. The 6 year old "cooking" dinner
245. quiet moments given to pray throughout the day
246. Talks of dreams for tomorrow, and lessons from yesterday
247. A beautiful day to clean up the yard, and plan out what to grow

249. Stopping this morning to watch the colors in the sky as the sun rises over the mountains in the east.
250. Calming silence as the day draws to an end.
