Kombucha Tea Part 2



I let the mushroom ferment the tea for 7 days, we tried it straight and opted against it, it tasted like rotten tea, the smell was an overwhelming vinegar smell. Okay says I...onward we go..

I had a friend save beer bottles for us and washed them well. Any site I found with kombucha said to mix with nectar or juice. We didnt have nectar in the house, so OJ it was. Wonder what the "officials" would say if they walked in right now...kids done with their school work, so they are playing together in the living room each with a beer bottle in hand Hahahaha....they love the kombucha with OJ!!! YEAH.




Now I have to let it sit on the counter for a couple days, that will allow the process to continue, actually carbonating it.

Ready to start a new batch with my little mushroom!
