Gratitude

Today, I am planning out gardens for the up coming year and years as we are able to expand them...I am grateful to God for this gift of work, that Satan would have us believe is a curse. I had a garden a few years ago and the time of working in His soil was time in which I was able to reflect on Him and His word...I look forward to that again.

201. Having to tell the children ... schoolwork is done and getting "but I don't want to".
202. internet to find frugal recipes
203. little ones hands, they are eager to learn
204. early glimpses of spring weather
205. childrens laughter as they play football in the back yard
206. their adventures, for one moment they are battling aliens, then wolves to rescue the princess
207. His holding me for an extra moment before he leaves for work
208. His laughter
209. His solemn moments, when he doubts himself and I can encourage him
210. Joy in the morning
211. Silence in the evening
212. rough roads that lead to home
213. indoor plumbing!
214. his smile when I cook his favorite dinners
215. the sparkle in a childs eyes as they learn new things.
216. God's hands and heart that provide all this
217. for my desire to draw closer to HIM
218. His words that
219. that our yardlight is out, at night I can see each and every star in the sky
220. how little I feel and how loved when I realize HE knows each star by name, yet still deems me important to HIM
221. HIS love...that brings me to tears, for I know that I am dirty and fithly, covered in sin, yet HE wipes it away, as a loving father does for HIS child.
222. looking toward heaven, in which I can sit at HIS feet and behold HIS glory forever.
223. The look of wonder in a childs eyes as I read the decription of Heaven that God has given us
224. Those who knew our Saviour and followed His will to write down the words of the Bible
225. For HIM who has never left my side!

Love the list! I agree (mostly) that work is a gift and appreciate indoor plumbing...
