Last weekend 4 of my 5 sisters in law, my BIL and some of their kids were in town, only one lives close, the others came from Bozeman, Kalispell and Havre. Saturday we met in town and went out for a late lunch after going to a local community garage sale. After that we went back to the hotel everyone was staying in and the kids went into the pool, 4 hours later, I got them out packed up their tired bodies and headed home.
I got to meet again my nephew Nathan and his wife, He is a war hero, and a joy to be around, I don't think I saw him with a sour face even for a moment. My SIL from Kalispell has six kids and this one is the oldest. I got update on her #2 son, he is currently stationed in Afganistan, he does IED removals...(I could have gone forever without knowing that). He is however, on his 60 day count down to coming home! We look forward to seeing him.
Sunday we headed out to my MIL. I cannot let the youngest one stay in the house to long as he is allergic to cats and at last count she has 4. The kids had a ball playing hide and seek with some of the adults, my little one (6) found the best hiding spot...in an empty *unused* trashcan.
From there we had lunch then back to the pool...this time 5 hours. My husband and his sister from Havre climbed in the pool with the kids and played Marco Polo, the kids (grown and little ones both) had a great time. Time goes by so quickly. We planned a mini reunion of the siblings in July in Kalispell (because of the number of kids, my SIL has a huge house). I think just for my sanities sake we may still get a hotel room.
Monday the kids were all exhausted, and the little one was struggling with his asthma. By Tuesday, he was running a temp, coughing and hacking all day, Wednesday I thought we were getting over it, Thursday I came down with it, Friday, I had to run and get milk, Belle said she did not feel well, by the time we got home, she was running a temp and the oldest said he was not feeling well.
By bedtime, all three were running fevers, as was I. Today was totally dedicated to laying about praying for healing.
I hope we will all feel better tomorrow. It is 7 in the evening and I am already ready for bedtime to come...mine not the kids.
