God's multiple blessing.....

Today, as I write this, my 3 grandchildren have completed their homeschool assignments, and because of the weather they cannot go outside to play. The sky is overcast and rain is falling, it has been all day. I think of when my dearest and I got married, we both were in our mid 30's and decided that we did not want children of our own, we were to old to start a new family...we forgot to let God in on this decision.

When my daughter was in highschool she got pregnant, then got pregnant again 2 years later, pregnant again just a few months later. She has opted to walk out on them, as have their fathers, so now we have 3. I would not change it. They give me so much, I have learned so much from them and because of them. They help me stay closer to God. They keep me honest and on track.

My dearest...praise God for him, has accepted the situation, he is provider, encourager, supporter and teacher...

How could I ever need more?

377. His having to work at 4, I got to spend the day with him, altho' I will miss him at dinner time.
378. Pastor's sermon on 1 John, this will help me through the week.
379. Planning a trip with the kids and my dearest, they are all so excited to go.
380. Leftover turkey for dinner
381. The "ewww" of the oldest boy when Papa hugs and kisses me goodbye.
382. Praying for his future wife, the wife of the youngest and the husband of the girl, that God will grow them to follow HIM faithfully.
383. For the workman putting blacktop on the highway that leads to the dirt road to my house
384. For the dirt road that is rutted and muddy that causes me to have to slow down as I drive to notice what God has placed for me to see.
385. Cats...the kids squealing as they see cats waiting for gophers to come out of hiding.
386. three little ones who notice what my tired eyes often miss
387. The adults at church who put on a little "game" hour for the kids after church.
388. For continuing to gut the "old" of the house to replace with new.
389. cloud covered day, dropping rain on grass that needs mowing.
390. Trees in leaf!
391. Him taking time to work out the knot I have developed in my shoulder.
392. Chance to help my mom with simple things that mean a lot to her.
393. Washer and dryer...I don't have to take the laundry to a creek, and I don't have to worry about doing laundry in the rain.
394. Meeting an old friend in a 2nd hand store and visiting for about an hour...
395. The pantry my dearest built for me.
396. The blessing of being able to fill that pantry.
397. His new bow...that he practices with that he can keep us fed.
398. The oldest boy wanting to go hunting, understanding not just the excitement of the hunt, but the provision it brings.
399. The sweet Belle, who would rather stay home with me than hunt.
400. My family, my Dearest and I had not planned on having kids, God had other plans and provided in a way we never dreamed!
