Getting ready for Christmas

The tree is up, the Jesse tree is in progress. We have a list of supplies we need to bake cookies, breads and other things for Christmas.

Today's agenda...get the house cleaned up, laundry and be ready for tomorrow.

Then Life happens...

My oldest struggles because his mom is in town but does not take time to contact them. I have texted her every morning since she gave me a cell phone for my birthday, but she has not contacted us since last Thursday.

We took the kids to see the new Narnia movie on Saturday. Their mom had suggested that she would join us. I asked her but got no response. The oldest took it exceptionally hard.

Last nite he decided to act out...while he was in bed he shredded his pillow...his feather pillow, there are feathers all over his room. Instead of my usual helpers, he is now picking up every feather, which now have spread into the rest of the house.

My heart breaks as he is devastated that his morning texts (his only contact with his mom) have stopped. His heart is broken and angry, which I can understand, I pray God will give me wisdom to help him through this.
