Wednesday checkin 1/26

The rest of last week went well, Pilates in the morning then either weights or zumba in the afternoon alternating. I am only at 20 mins on zumba right now, but it is better than the zero I was doing!

Monday I skipped as my dau was up visiting until midnight, and I was up at 5 am. I have learned through experience that if I exersize when I am exhausted it is actually dangerous. I get careless and can do more harm than good.

Tuesday was mostly skipped. None of the 3 wanted to attempt to anything they were suppose to, so my day was spent chasing after them. I did go through an old stretching routine that I use to do, based on gymastics, it did touch a lot of muscle groups.

This morning, I have done my pilates. This afternoon I will do the WII fit.

I have not weighed myself this week, but I feel better and that actually is the goal behind me doing this. The weight will be a natural byproduct of the work.

As far as foods, I am steering the kids away from the sugar infested, chemically altered boxed stuffed. Today we had baked oatmeal, and I have collected a variety of things to try for breakfast versus the processed stuff. I had been doing this for a while but got away from it.

I cannot stand to throw out food so as I run out of what have become staples, I am identifing and using homemade instead. For example, I was using canned cream of mushroom soup for many dishes. Now I make a medium white sauce, add whatever spices will be appropriate for the dish, then add mushrooms.

We already buy our beef and lamb from a local rancher, so it does not have the chemicals and hormones so readily offered at retail stores, we have venison in the freezer (and home canned!)

Despite a couple of missed days, I think it has been a pretty good week.

Sounds like you are on the road to success. Look at all you've accomplished and not one you didn't. It all works out in the end. Great job this week. Better than me.. Been sick for 4 days. I can't WAIT to get back to the gym.. :)
