Corn maze

After the kids got their work done, I packed them off to the corn maze in Vaughn. They had a ball. For just a little local maze, it was a nice change of pace for the kids. A lot of the local homeschool community came out, so there were plenty of "playmates".

We walked through the maze as a a family, just the three and I, however we interacted with other families as we roamed the maze. Then I set "the kids free" each finding friends from coop etc to run around with. There were boxes of corn (HUGE) that the kids could play in like a sand pit, there were haystacks to climb on, a slide made from culvert piping, a duck race made from hand pump and pvc pipe cut in half. A spider web made from rope and netting and a catepillar tunnel to climb through.

We were there for about 2 1/2 hours, when I rounded up all to come home. On the way home. The oldest was sneezing, coughing and when I looked at him in the mirror, heavy eyes. He has now caught a cold.

The heartbreaking part, I made sure I had my camera...but left the SD card in the computer....aaarrrggghhh...
