Dear Lord,I bring you my heart...that you may work it, you may grow me more in walking with you.

I bring you my worship and praise...for this advent season. For Genesis, in which you promised a savior, then fullfilling that promise through your son.

I bring you my prayer for...my friend who continues with cancer struggles. That tomorrow you will be with the doctors as they try to remove tumors from her brain, and that chemo will stunt the growth of the cancer in her abdomen. I pray that you will continue to provide her husband strength as he walks with her and his heart is breaking because he does not want to lose his beloved.

You spoke to me...through the children. Reading from Isaiah and Genesis, you reminded me of the power of your word over little ones, how their eyes grow wide with excitement when they "see" something new in a story they have read many times before.
