She turned 9

For the past few years, Mom asks the kids what they want for their birthday cake, they choose and she makes it. This year it turned disasterous. Lacy wanted a tower from the movie "Tangled". Mom made a 4 layer caked, iced in purple, complete with fondant formed turrets on the top. It probably was beautiful, but it fell over in her car as she was on her way up here.

In a bit of a panic, mom ran to Walmart and picked up a storebought cake and put some "tangled" toys on top, since she did not have the time to try to fix it...altho' I really dont think it could have been fixed.

The cake...Not what was wanted but it looked pretty good.

Mom came up and had lunch and dinner with the kids, which was nice. They talked, played and had a good time. They so enjoy time with her which is far to rare.

When "they" turn nine, they get to stay up until 9 pm. So Princess turned 9 on the
9th and got to stay up until 9. She truly enjoyed that play on number.

For her dinner, she chose hot dogs, with homemade macaroni and cheese.
