Jan 27 3 in 30 Update

On Monday...well that day was a bust! I woke feeling sick to my stomach, I could not eat or drink, just feeling bad. My daughter took the kids to their Co op so I am grateful they did not miss that but I did end up sleeping most of the day. In retrospect I think the birthday diet the day before just did not settle well.

The first goal is the easiest, I have made it just over halfway through Numbers. I really love spending that time with God every morning.

Needsless to say exercise went out the window on Monday, Tuesday I could manage 1/2 of what I usually do, by Wednesday I was back on track. Yesterday was my weight in and I am down 7 pounds since I started...yipeee!!!!

I got thrown off on the goal of journaling all I eat, but it has turned out to be a good thing...I had signed up on loseit.com and that site calculates how many calories you need a day in order to lose so many pounds in a set time frame...this is not going to work. In order to meet the numbers posted, I was walking around feeling stuffed. With age I don't think I need as many calories as this site said, especially when I have been paying more attention to foods that offer zero/little nutritional value. This goal is changing in as much as I will journal on paper not shooting for that "target" that I cannot meet.

So sorry that you've been ill - hope you are on the mend!! I've never tried to list all the foods that I eat, and that might be a good thing!! Happy Friday :)

Awe that sucks that you weren't feeling well. Good job on the weight loss though! I need to try that journaling my intake of food. I think I might be scared. :)
